Gov. Scott Plans Tour Of Florida Schools

(Associated Press) Gov. Rick Scott will be touring schools across Florida to talk to teachers, students and parents about improving education. The tour begins Monday. Scott will visit different schools each day next week. A blog about the tour will be posted online, at http://www.flgov.com/education. A student film crew also will be shadowing the governor. Scott said Saturday that the tour will help generate ideas “to strengthen our education system to better prepare students for college and careers.”
