Protecting Our Children

Rick Scott for Florida

June 10, 2014

Governor Scott has made protecting our most vulnerable children a top priority.  Under Governor Scott’s leadership, the Department of Children and Families has been able to fund new pilot programs to target at-risk youth and help get them back on track.  By focusing on prevention, Governor Scott is making smart investments to protect the future of Florida’s children.

With his “Caring for Florida Families” plan, Governor Scott is committed to ensuring children within foster care and adoption communities find safe and loving homes, and providing the resources necessary to ensure the safety of at-risk children.
